What am I trying to understand?

I start with one clear question. The simpler I can make the question, the easier it is to see what I need to learn.

I like thinking from first principles. Break down every single thing and start at the beginning.

Now I can ask GPT to teach me as if I am ten years old. Explain the words. Show me the basic parts. Give me an example. Then let me explain it back.

Simple explanations help me see the gaps. I still want to check the facts and understand where the simplified picture stops being useful.

Can I explain the basics in my own words?

A learning routine I use. AI explanations can contain mistakes, so I check important facts against reliable sources.
