Shahzad is the founder of Altech Investments, a pre-seed tech investment fund which specialises in helping founders transform their ideas into successful businesses.
Prior to Altech Investments, Shahzad founded Get Licensed, a £25M company, from his spare bedroom. Having served over 500,000 customers, Get Licensed is the largest licence course marketplace in the UK.
As a graduate of Harvard Business School (OPM). Shahzad has exceptional awareness of market forces and often provides guidance and mentorship to Entrepreneurs and Senior Leaders within and beyond the world of business.
Shahzad is a member of Young Presidents Organisation (YPO) and Conservative party’s Business & Entrepreneurship forum. Shahzad has also previously served as Education & Mentoring Chair of The Indus Entrepreneur(TiE) London chapter.
Shahzad sits on various boards, including GovTech Alliance, Edequal Foundation and currently serves as Vice Chair of YPO’s - Social Engagement Network .
Shahzad believes that learning never stops and regularly attends executive education programs at Stanford University and London Business School
Shahzad had humble beginnings. He moved to London from Karachi and worked as a Security Guard for G4S at a petrol station in East London and considers that his most impactful learning experience.
